How much does it cost?
How does Fullindex.com attract visitors that will find me?
We are currently using 3 targeted marketing programs to attract visitors to
Fullindex.
1. Search engines. We are increasing our search engine presence every day by
listing in every category that other search engines will allow. At first we mostly
attract business people to preview our site. Business people buy 4 to 500% more
on-line than retail customers. If you sell B2B, this will be the place to list. Businesses with products and services are also
wanted as advertisers for the soon to be marketed to, retail shopper.
2. E-mail. We actively seek opt-in mail lists that we can use to expose our
site to more business people. We also search the Internet for the types of
products and services we list and e-mail the sellers with our proposal. We
plan to soon be sending one million e-mails a day.
3. Affiliate program. Along with the above marketing we promote our affiliate
program which pays commissions to other web sites and sales people that send
even more customers to our site. This kind of marketing is used by most of the very
successful on-line sales companies and is very effective.
Why don't I see more listings?
This web site is currently in the 'populating' stage of development. It was started
in the summer of 1999 with the programming complete in January 2000. Testing completion
and marketing efforts began in November 2000.
This site does not 'crawl' the web collecting huge amounts of useless listings together
with a handful of useful ones. It relies on the owners of web sites accurately and
effectively listing their products and services in carefully organized categories that
shoppers can quickly find. In the
coming months and years, you will be able to experience a transformation from
the old search engine way of finding
'general' category items located in places unknown, to finding highly specific
products and services located where you wish to find them.
This can only be accurately done by starting from scratch. We expect our low price,
our extended first year subscription, and the unique features that both the shopper
and the subscriber can profit from, to quickly motivate subscribers to list their
products and services.
Why should I list my products and services in your search engine?
Most search engines are similar in many ways. In fact many use the exact same listings
leased to them by another search engine. They offer too many unrelated listings and
too many ads and banners. At the same time they offer little ability to find local
businesses and minimal control of the display or position of your listing.
Fullindex is different. The results only contain the highest level of matches. Example;
a competing brand name product may NOT list in the category of the properly listed
brand name product. This results in categories only containing (fewer) exact matches.
There are no ads, banners or discriminatory alliances with would-be competitors. You
control your listings and are empowered to market locally.
I can to not find the category that I want to list in. What do I do?
Our 'tips and tricks' page explains how to search our home page for categories and additional
related categories. If that does not help, you may want to suggest a category so
we can create it and list it in our system. Please describe the category that you
would like and the path (where it should be found) and e-mail it to us at
